• Account data: Name, email address, and profile picture (from Google OAuth or direct signup)
• Usage data: Test attempts, scores, flashcard activity, PYQ practice history
• Payment data: Order IDs and plan details (no raw card data — handled by Cashfree)
• Device data: Browser type, OS, IP address, and session metadata

We use collected information to:

• Provide and improve the Platform and its features
• Personalise your study experience and AI recommendations
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send important account and product updates (not spam)
• Analyse aggregate usage to improve content quality
• Comply with legal obligations

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure hosted on AWS (Mumbai region). We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encrypted data at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+)
• Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure users can only access their own data
• Regular security audits and dependency updates

We share limited data with trusted third-party services necessary to operate the Platform:

• Supabase — Authentication and database
• Cashfree — Payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant)
• Google — OAuth login (if used)
• Vercel — Hosting and CDN

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or third parties.

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

You can clear cookies at any time via your browser settings. Disabling cookies will log you out of the Platform.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Delete your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law (e.g., payment records for tax compliance, retained for 7 years).

NeetRank.ai is designed for students aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us immediately at support@neetrank.ai.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
